| The man who most of us have come to know as Big Al was more alive than anyone else I've ever met. |
| He was a gentle giant with a giant sense of humour who's lust for life inspired us all and taught us life is for living and living. |
| He lit up the room whenever he walked in, always shortly followed by that booming laugh and one of his many stories he so loved to tell. |
| He loved his wife Deb and his family dearly and I know you will join me in supporting them in these coming months. |
| Thank you Alan for being my friend as well as my step-dad, and thank you for enriching all of our lives by being such a good man. |
